The impact on CO2 emissions is minimal, as the tours are organized as walking tours. Additionally, with the offering limited to Germany, travel distances can be kept relatively short. Currently, Eat the World operates in 55 German cities, ranging from small to large urban areas. In 2023 they organized about 20.000 tours and collaborated with approximately 1.500 local restaurants and food stores.

During the tour, there’s often a focus on regional products and insights into local diets, including vegan options. The main customers are locals, ensuring a lasting positive impact on the partner businesses even after the tour ends. Being easily bookable and readily accessible lowers the barriers to entry.
